Should you require a bespoke part, we have access to precision cutting machinery which enables us to cut a magnet to your exact specification, from one of our standard parts.
The cutting disc is a diamond edged blade which rotates at a variable rate, up to 4000 RPM. The speed can be taylored to the optimum rate for any given material, which ensures a clean and accurate cut.
Since magnetic compounds are often quite brittle, the machine continually sprays a jet of water and lubricant mix between the cutting disc and the magnet. This also helps to prevent the magnet from shattering.
