This segment is a large user of magnets and covers many different disciplines but generally focuses on the mechanical uses that magnets offer. These include Holding, Repelling, Separating and Switching. The scale of work can be varied, from Large Assemblies to small Customer Specific components or devices. MSS carries a large range of Pot holding Systems in stock and these are widely used as a way of Fastening or Clamping. They often provide a small but effective magnetic performance and with right chose of materials work in the most hostile of environments, such as Marine and High Temperature Applications
